The Studio.

Who is behind the studio?

Claire, trained fashion designer, surface pattern designer since 9 years

What is your background?

After graduating from ESMOD in Paris with a degree in women's and children's fashion design, I worked as a designer and graphic designer in women's ready-to-wear for 5 years.

I have been working for 9 years as a freelance surface pattern designer with different brands of men's, women's and children's ready-to-wear, as well as household linen, wallpaper and stationery...

Describe your style.

I love the vegetal, floral, or graphic patterns, with a refined and vintage spirit. The colors are grayed, in vegetal and mineral palettes enhanced with a pop touch!

What sets off your passion for prints?

First of all, drawing was my first passion, and then I looked for a way to combine this passion with a job at a very young age. Then fashion came naturally, but fashion design didn't suit me totally, and by drawing patterns, everything became clear!
