The Studio.
Who is behind the studio?
Flavie Fortin
What is your background?
I have been a fashion and textile designer for 10 years now. I started by studying fashion design and pattern making, I then went to a Parisian workshop to continue styling and integrate textile graphics, accessories, jewelry ...
The first professional experiences arrived, I worked as a stylist assistant, then as a fashion and patterns designer for brands for women, men and children, always with a real taste for patterns and colors.
I started out for the first time in the creation and sale of illustration, I liked it a lot but it was difficult at the time to juggle my internal work and illustrations.
After the arrival of my daughter, I decided to try the experience again and start as a freelance fashion and pattern designer.
2020 has not made it easier to trade with businesses, so let's hope 2021 will be more lenient.
